Description of the problem | It seem that the windshield wiper transmission has a flaw in the design that causes the wiper to suddenly not work. Instead of using screws and such to allow the wiper transmission to turn the wipers themselves, what was used was a ballpoint and some substance that sticks the joint of the part. The wipers stop functioning during when my mother was driving my vehicle (2012 chevy equinox) during the rain and had to pull over on the side of the road. Luckily she was not on the highway where the rain could have caused a major accident(s). |
