Description of the problem | My chevrolet dealer would not honor tsb 14882 and diagnose and repair my vehicle free of charge. The reason given is that the tsb is vin specific and my car does not have the exact engine designated in the tsb. However, it is a chevrolet inline 4 cylinder engine that exhibits the identical symptoms as in the tsb. This tsb should be extended to cover all chevrolet 4 cylinder engines in the designated model years. |
