Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 chevrolet equinox. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle rattled and made a host of noises, which indicated that there was no oil in the vehicle. The contact stated that two quarts of oil were placed in the vehicle, but it prematurely dissipated before the intended mileage mark. The contact stated that oil was added to the vehicle three times in a short period of time. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an oil consumption failure. The vehicle was not repaired, but the contact made an appointment with the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 91,000. |
