Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While driving up a hill at 45 mph, the contact released the accelerator pedal and the vehicle began to accelerate on its own without warning. The contact depressed the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. Once he stopped the vehicle, the vehicle resumed normal driving function. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair costs. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000. |
