Description of the problem | I am not complaining about an safety incident. I'm complaining about chevrolet's handling of a potential safety issue. I received a letter advising of a possible issue with the accelerator pedal, that it may break rendering the car unusable. Chevy explicitly says not to bring the car to a dealer for repairs, but instead, they will extend the warranty on that part, and cover the repair if it fails. Something of this serious and debilitating a nature should be fixed under recall, in my opinion. I will submit the letter i received for your review. |
