Description of the problem	While trying to merge into traffic my vehicle engine speeds up to 7000 rpm but the car only gets up to about 28 mph. I have almost been rear ended because of this. Also i tried to pass other cars at first the car seemed as it had the power to pass but as i got at the side of the car i was passing with pedal on floor the transmission seemed to lose power and dog down. Almost causing me a head on collision . On the highway my car doesn't seem to have the power to pass cars unless going down hill. The cars engine speeds up but the transmission do not speed up so it just burns more gas. That i can not afford on disability. On june 8 2018 i took the car back to weimer chevrolet in moorefield, wv, they told me everything was fine gave me a copy of the vehicle inspection they done. Other cruze owners said they have the same problem i told them to call gm themselves to let them know of this problem. I spoke to a miguel at gm at customer service, he told me that a manager would be in touch with me . On june 26 2018, a gm manager called my cell phone and asked for my address , and a brief explanation of the cars issues e-mail address and the dealer info. I then on june 28 i got a email from a courtney at gm stating that they have been unable to contact me. Even though they have my home / cell numbers. And that if this matter is resolved do nothing but if not to call them, i tried to and got no answer so also sent a reply to their e-mail, stating that this matter has not been resolved and how dangerous these cars are. Once again no response from gm as of july 17. I feel as though gm does not care about my families or my safety in this matter with their lack of response . I 'm not sure how many others have reported to gm with their issues but i know mine is falling through the cracks. So if you can please help with this issue i would greatly appreciate it.
