Description of the problem | I have the dssv shocks on my zr2. It has 58,000 miles on it and the dssv shocks are leaking. To my knowledge this shock is supposed to be for the life of the vehicle. I know there was a recall on some 2015-2017 dssv shocks mine is a 2017 but i have no recall and my shocks are leaking like the recalled shocks. Since the shocks are not working properly it has a lot of body sway and is somewhat unstable i believe the reason for this is because the dssv shocks are not working properly. Both of my rear shocks are leaking and the front shocks seem to bottom out in every bump. Here is the recall number i found #17345. This talks about the rod being brittle and causing a leak |
