Description of the problem	While driving the rain the dashboard light came on stating service power steering drive with care and another light came on stating stablelik. This happened on 2-11-20. Again on 2-13-20 raining again same lights came on but this time they didn't go out. Shut the truck off turn back on no power steering. Took the truck to dealer the recall was done at 18000 miles. I paid to have a perform system test done. I was told i need a new rack and pinion steering at a cost of 1800. But gm will pay 900. Of the bill. I called gm to cover the whole cost but told me i was out of the time frame. I have 95000 miles on it . It looks like to me that it is a recurring problem that will continue to happen. Today is 2-14-20 no rain drove truck 6 times so far no dash lights on and have power steering called the dealer back today and was told it must be the moduler that is sealed in the rack and pinion system
