Description of the problem | In 2016, i purchased a used 2004 chevy colorado. This year (2017) my daughter noticed excessive rust on the underside of the vehicle. Upon the next oil change, we were told that the frame was completely rotted and cracked in several places. We were then referred to a welding company, who said that it could be repaired for $4,000. We got a second opinion, who said that this repair was not worth it. We were then referred to a place that would completely replace the frame, but are waiting on a price. |
