Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet aveo. The contact stated that the vehicle was smoking while idling. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the technician diagnosed that the head gasket, manifold gasket, lube valve cover, timing belt, and upper radiator hose malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. After the failure, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic where it could not be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000. |
