Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2009 chevrolet aveo. The contact stated while driving various speeds and merging onto a highway when the accelerator pedal was engaged he was unable to increase speed. After coasting to the side of the road in order for the vehicle to reset the vehicle was taken to a dealer who advised him that there was a wire loose on the sensor for the acceleration. The loose wire was repaired. Approximately 4 months later the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 9,000. The vin was unavailable. |
