Description of the problem | 2006 chevy aveo - issue rear axle beam bushings failed at 65,000 miles. The failure allows the rear axle to have up to an inch of travel left to right. As you go down the road you can feel the back of the car shifting as you hit bumps in the road or simply by taking an exit ramp. Gm would not provide any assistance with this problem. I explained this is a safety issue and it fell on deaf ears. I read on line this is a problem for most aveo owners. These are not old cars and this safety issue failure should be addressed by gm. |
