Description of the problem | 2006 & 2007 chevy aveo svm models. Both alternators failed within 1 month of each other. Dealer claims to have replaced 'many' alternators for aveo model in just the last week. Dealer claims that aveo has this problem with alternators, but they are not covered under warranty. Alternator causes massive electrical problems throughout car. One car lost battery, dome light, radio, wipers, throttle sensor due to malfunctioning alternator. Alternator on aveo should be a recall item as it is a prevalent issue for the model. It should not be a 'dealer makes money' since car is 3 months out of warranty. |
