Description of the problem | The locking mechanism on my 2005 chevrolet aveo has been getting stuck. It does not open manually, it will not unlock with the key inserted on the door, nor will it unlock when i am inside the vehicle. The only way to open my door is with the remote. I fear that in the event of an emergency i will not be able to exit my vehicle in time. There is also the fear that i may become stranded because the batteries in the remote has died and i will be unable to open the door even though i have my keys. |
