Description of the problem | Several customers have had this same problem with defective wiring inside of the fuse box in which the splice pack overheats and causes wires to melt. This causes the electrical systems to malfunction, brake lights to go out, turn signals to stop working, dash safety indicators to flicker on and off, the radio to stop working, and headlights to stop working. This is an ongoing problem that chevy does not want to address but it has caused a car to stall in the middle of the highway and affects safety of the vehicle passengers, the driver, and the passengers in other vehicles. I feel that the 2004-2008 chevy aveo is a prime candidate for a recall because of safety issues. |
