Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chevrolet aveo. While merging onto the highway at an unknown speed, the vehicle shut off. It took approximately five minutes for the vehicle to restart and then it shut off again. There were no warnings prior to the failures. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice, but they could not diagnose the cause of the failure. During the third visit, the check engine light illuminated and the dealer stated that the oxygen senor was activated and would not cause the vehicle to shut off. The manufacturer advised the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. The failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 39,000. |
