Description of the problem | I have purchased a 2005 chevy aveo approximately 3 years ago since then i have had to have the drivers door lock reinstalled the bolt holding it on fell off . The right side windshield wiper has worn out 8 times due to it extending beyond the windshield and ripping the end of the blade and the last event was two weeks ago the key would not come out of the steering column due to the switch under the shift column failed and had to replace it naturally it was a dealer only item my car has 53000 miles and i was always a chevy fan but now i am rethinking this. Hope no one else has this problem but if you do disconnect the battery terminal and the key will go into the lock position allowing it to be removed. *kb |
