Description of the problem | Air bag indicator light came on in mid january 2008 and has remained on. The car just went out of warranty in aug 2007. Since i have been deployed for 15 months, i was not able to discover this problem while it was still under standard warranty. After contacting chevrolet about several issues with the brakes and air bag light, they instructed me to get it diagnosed. The diagnosis revealed an ecw failure but nothing could be found wrong with the brakes. Recommendation from chevrolet servco is to have ecw fixed. After the occurrence with the brakes, my husband began driving the vehicle. |
