Description of the problem | Presently three of my 2008 chevy avalanche ltz door handles have broken off. I have no kids and no excessive usage of the back two doors but they broke the worse. The gmc repair shop explained that most of these door handles brake off in the winter. Therefore, i'd say this is a known defect. When you pay almost 50k for a new truck and within 4 years you are driving a vehicle with only one door handle that is pathetic. I will never buy another gmc chevy and i will never recommend a chevy avalanche. There are multiple other defects with this truck as well. This is not a quality made vehicle. |
