Description of the problem | Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 chevrolet avalanche. While driving 65 mph, the vehicle lost all power without warning. The contact was able to pull the vehicle over to the side of the road and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing, but there was no failure code. The contact was notified that a possible issue could be the amount of keys on the keychain. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issues. The failure mileage was unknown.
