Description of the problem | "takata recall" nothing has happened yet. However, we have not been in an accident. We feel like we are rolling the dice every time we use our vehicle. We have seen tv reporting where occupants have been grossly facially disfigured and or blinded from metal scraps from these airbags. Why are we being put at this dangerous risk? Since it appears, according to my chevrolet dealer, we are no closer to having a replacement. Thus, i am requesting that you give the dealership. Permission to disable or remove the bag. We would rather take our chances without a dangerous air bag that could explode in our face even in a minor accident, as we have done most of our lives before air bags were mandated. Please advise! |
