Description of the problem | After years of risking my life driving with headlights(low beams) dimmer than my turn signals, i gave up and bought some aftermarket housings. I read a little online, and some people said the the projector bowls burn up. After replacing these, i decided to open up the factory ones. When i got them opened, i found the projector bowl to be burnt up. It is ridiculous that gm/cadillac won't recall them, even with so many reports of the dim low beams reported all over the internet(even on this nhtsa government website.) this needs to be investigated and action needs to be taken. It's not acceptable for people to just have to deal with either risk getting in a wreck, running their high beams 24/7 which is a safety concern for other drivers, or to shell out the money for aftermarket housings. |
