Description of the problem | Cadillac sent me a letter advising that my car may have an issue with moisture in the headlights. Their proposed solution is to have me pay my dealer just to inspect the car, then pay the dealer to replace the headlights if necessary, then file a claim for reimbursement from cadillac, which they may or may not approve. My dealer confirmed that process and told me that my out of pocket cost would be about $1,700. 00. Shouldn't this be safety recall that cadillac would fix without me having to pay first and then wait for months to possibly be reimbursed? Thanks for your assistance. |
