Description of the problem | The low beam headlights continue to get less effective. When purchased two years ago they were fine. They have continuously lost brightness to the point they are barely brighter than parking lamps. This makes it very difficult to see anything more than 15' in front of the car when the bright lights cannot be used. It also reduces the visibility of the car at night causing other drivers to change lanes immediately in front on highways and pulling out in front on other roads. This is extremely dangerous! Why has this not been recalled??? The manufacturer has produced a defective product that endangers the driver and their passengers but wants them to spend over $600 to replace the assemblies. This is a common problem, not a fair occurance. It is more dangerous than items that have already been addressed by the nhtsa! Why are families being left in danger? |
