Description of the problem	I purchased this vehicle used in november 2018 from the local lexus dealer. I didn't drive it at night prior to taking a trip in december 2018 when i left early in the morning in a rainstorm. I was shocked that i couldn't see a thing and thought it was just the rain. Later i discovered it was the headlights that were extremely dim. I contacted the local cadillac dealer who knew about the problem affecting this year and other srx models. They said they could replace the entire housing, etc but that the problem comes back. They said they could not replace with halogen or other after market parts since they are not cadillac parts. They asked that i let them know if halogen lights would fix the problem if i go that route. How on earth could this car not be recalled to fix the problem? This situation is just plain dangerous and cannot be safely driven at night when lights are needed!!
