Description of the problem | The headlights on my srx are so dim that i cannot see to drive after dark. After searching the internet it seems this is a very common issue that cadillac has not addressed. We are now working with a mechanic to order aftermarket replacements since changing the entire headlight assembly. Replacing the headlight bulbs over the past weekend did nothing to improve the light put out by the headlights. I also visited the body shop that made a minor repair to the car in dec 2018 thinking the headlights were misaligned and was told the driver side light was significantly dim compared to the passenger side. The issue with the headlights is for the low beams and not the high beams. This issue can be seen while parked or driving on the highway, during turns as well |
