Description of the problem | Low beam headlights very dim and have been since the vehicle was new in january of 2015. Contacted dealer and was informed this was a common problem with the srx for which there was no fix. On my third set of aftermarket halogen bulbs with only marginal improvement. Consider it somewhat dangerous to drive this vehicle during night time hours. This issue happens with headlight switch in automatic or when selecting the "headlight on" position. Headlights also appear to be aimed too low but dealership chose not to verify and there dopes not appear to be an adjustment screw; the manual states that the dealer's body shop should aim the lights. |
