Description of the problem	We drive a 2015 cadillac srx. I work in real estate and went out to one of my homes to remove the signage after the home had sold and when i went to let up the hatch to place the sign in the back of the vehicle the hatch would not open. After several failed attempts of trying to open the hatch from the push button at the rear of the vehicle i thought i would try the button on the inside of the drivers door, still nothing it will not open. Did some research, spoke with some other gmc/cadillac owners and mechanics we was told that this is a common issue with their vehicles and that there was no recall for this issue either. And during our research we was told that water leaks into the area where of which the lift gate module kit is stored on the left rear of the vehicle this of course if what made the computer board to burn out. Looked up to see if there is a recall on this and like several other issues we have experienced there has not been a recall to fix this problem either.
