Description of the problem	Air bag sensor defective. When passenger sits in seat the sensor indicator reads off. Took it to dealer today 3/15/2018 and they said it needs a new sensor. When they tested it with a 280 lb. Mechanic in passenger seat sensor said a child was in seat and it was on the off position. The air bag sensor had a recall previously and was taken care of and still having air bag problems. Have been driving with passengers in seat with no air bag protection. Had previously taken it in to dealer and they said no problem but pressed them as indicator still showed off no matter who sat in seat. Talked to gmc representative and all they had to say was we are so sorry. They were of no help at all. Have talked to several other buick encore owners and they have had air bag issues as well. These cars need another recall as the first recall did not fix the problem. This problem of air bag off was while vehicle is in motion when someone is sitting in passenger seat well over the weight limit. This has been an ongoing problem since january of this year. *js
