Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 buick encore. While operating the vehicle, the rpms randomly increased and the engine surged. The vehicle hesitated to accelerate and the check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to courtesy buick (1857 edwards lake rd, birmingham, al) in 2017 and the cracked valve cover seal was replaced; however, the failure eventually recurred. The vehicle was taken to howard bentley buick gmc (4321 us hwy 43, albertville, al) and the intake manifold seal was replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 50,000. |
