Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 buick enclave. While driving various speeds and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle would hesitate and the traction and check engine warning indicators illuminated. The failure occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics where diagnostic testing was performed. It was diagnosed that the timing chain needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000. |
