Description of the problem | I purchased the vehicle used 1 month ago. On two occasions, the car has not started after getting gas. After several minutes, the car will start again. I believe this problem has been fixed by replacing the evap purge solenoid. On two occasions within the last week, the car would not start after being parked in the driveway overnight. The first time, the battery was completely dead and the car had to be towed in. The mechanic attributed the problem to low voltage, recharged the battery, and the battery tested good. Five days later, the vehicle was dead again. A little research seems to indicate there may be a problem with battery drainage in the 2009 buick enclave. Since purchase, the vehicle has been at the mechanic for more days than i have used it. |
