Description of the problem | This vehicle was subject to two recalls pertaining to the blower motor wiring and pcv valve heater. The vehicle started to smoke and was taken to the dealer on january 8, 2018. The actual notice of recall was sent out to owners, prior to that. It is now april 12, 2018 and i have heard nothing regarding the repairs to this problems. The dealer to which i took the vehicle said, only "we have no idea - it could be months". This is unacceptable, and i am wondering what my remedies might be. I now have an inoperable vehicle, utilizing a parking space that i pay for and, although bmw is paying for a rental car, it is not a bmw. Thank you for your assistance. |
