Description of the problem | This is related to a 2011 bmw x3. The sunroof just exploded out of no where. It was a nice sunny day and we were driving on the highway. We were driving at normal speed of approximately 60-65mph since we had 2 young children in the car, a 1 year old and a 3 year old. All of a sudden we heard a loud bang like a gunshot sound. We thought the tires blew out, so we pulled over. My husband stepped out of the car and looked at all the tires and they were fine and intact. My husband looked on top of the car and saw the sunroof was shattered. We were shocked. Good thing is that we didn't have the sunroof opened and the glass didn't fall inside the car. No one was hurt. We didn't see any debris of something hitting the roof. The sunroof just exploded. |
