Description of the problem | I took my vehicle in to the dealership for service related to the engine light on 9/6/19 and i was inform that there was a recall on the vehicle that was not fixable and its related to the occupans protection. A vertical trim piece on the inside of the vehicle, between the front and rear doors, may marginally exceed a federal requirement for an unbelted compliance test. I was told by the service provider that in a severe accident, this could increase the risk of injury because in a roll over the vehicle would not withstand the pressure and the roof of the vehicle would be pushed into the cabin of the car. I travel over 100 miles daily and with my children. My commute is mainly on the highway and i am concerned for our safety. There is no remedy for this recall at this time therefore i would like a full refund or a replacement. |
