Description of the problem | Takata recall: ongoing issue with vehicle. Latest recall notice 6/18. Contacted dealer in buffalo, new york to schedule repair. Dealer states that they do not have any of the correct 'kit' on hand to do the repair. Apparently the vehicle needs an '01' kit. Dealer says they were awaiting kits from audi. This was over a month ago. Dealer stated they would call when the kit arrived and notify me. Meanwhile i get postcard "recall campaign reminders' from audi. The postcard advises to call the audi customer service center but the voice message advises 'no one is available'. |
