Description of the problem	Takata recall: this complaint is in regard to passenger airbag only, what about the driver. I contacted audi usa, 800-822-2834 and confirmed with the rep ( vince) that there is no guarantee available regarding the driver airbag not affected by the recall. Audi usa is not able/willing to provide a letter indicating that there is no need to be concerned re; driver air bag and more importantly , that it is safe.. I find this to be very inappropriate, i live in miami, fl. A highly humid and hot state which takata has reported airbag inflator could potentially rupture due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute high humidity and temperature cycling. I know for a fact can be deadly if airbag deploys. I was informed by the audi/ rep that the only way to be sure is to " take the car apart to confirm manufacturer of airbag." this is highly unacceptable. I do not feel safe driving my vehicle and should not have to deny a family/friend transportation ( passenger ) because i have a recalled airbag with a "repair solution pending." in addition, i am making my car payments towards a car that i now feel unsafe, and cannot allow a passenger to accompany me. I am requesting a prompt answer to my complaint in hopes that we can come to an agreement and solution towards this problem.
