Description of the problemAudi a4 transmissions have a faulty trasmission component, which causes them to fail. Repairs are costly, and are not a guaranteed permenant fix. Driving around in a vehicle (known to the manufacturer) with a transimission waiting to fail is not only extremely unsafe - it's just bad business. Please help institue a recall for all audi vehichles with faulty cvts. A lawsuite settlement was announced in 2013, however, this only covers year models from 2002-2006. Clearly, the cvt transimission is still in production in audi a4s till this day. I drive a 2007 audi a4 with less than 100k miles and is less than 10 years old. My transimission went out on me while trying to reverse out of a driveway on to a highly populated city street, with a slight hill from oncomming traffic - i could of been slammed into from the rear.
