Description of the problem | Takata recall. Received letter from audi of america in april 2016 indicating airbag inflator could rupture, which may result in serious injury or death. Have appointment for regular car servicing on july 21 2016. Inquired about plans regarding recall repair. Dealership indicated that there are no current timelines for repairs. Will be notified when parts become available. No further recommendation. My wife drives this car daily, and this doesn't seem quite right. Am interested in the role of consumer protections services here. Thanks! |
