Description of the problem | Driving an 2005 audi a4 quattro on a busy interstate highway, the car began to sputter and experience acceleration surging and deceleration. I was able to exit the roadway and had vehicle towed to dealer, eee motors in springfield virginia. Eee motors identified a fuel system problem, had vehicle shipped to audi of alexandria for further diagnosis and repair. Audi dealer reported fuel pump needed replacement as well as a low pressure fuel sensor. Appears to be same problem as that which resulted in the 2004 audi a4 fuel pump safety recall. Please recall this model year before same safety problem occurs for 2005. |
