Description of the problem | Airbag light continues to trip. First occurrence fault indicated driver side airbag upper limit exceed. Replaced driver side airbag and connectors. Car was 47 days outside 4 yr warranty with only 42k miles. 5 months later light came on again, repair accomplished again, light came on after one day. Service tech stated that they did not know if airbag would deploy in the event of a crash. Instructed to put a couple hundred miles on car. Schedule to go back to dealer this week. |
