Description of the problem | Fuel pump failed in 2004 audi a4 3. 0q. Had car flat bedded from about 30 miles from home. Cost over $500 to repair + flatbed fees. Car had 68,000 miles when it happened. Fortunately, i was right at a gas station when it happened, so i was able to pull off highway and out of traffic safely. I see many many stories about this problem. Now, newly installed pump is barely 4 months old and making loud noises. I expect this one has gone bad or is about to. Car goes into shop in a few days to inspect this. |
