Description of the problem	On both days sept 22 and sept 23, 2015, as i was driving, i was sitting in traffic at a stop light waiting for it to turn green. Just as the light turned green and everyone started to move forward, my car shut down. An ediston bulb popped up on the dash, yellow color, and the words "shift to park" but it disappeared within 2 secs. I immediately shifted to park and restarted the car. The car restarted and i was able to move forward. I am taking the car back into the dealer today. I also have the jerky transmission, the sudden surge when shifting from park to drive or reverse, the delay in the acceleration. A couple months ago, i was making a right turn into oncoming traffic. The car moved forward but then suddenly stopped tho the rpms went up but it wouldn't move. I immediately shifted out of drive into neutral and slipped it back into drive and proceeded okay. I have intermittent garage remote. When using the downshift paddle, the car speeds up which didn't happen in the beginning. There are other issues with the car and they are the same as everyone's. Another time my car wouldn't start and it took 20 mins and tried the two different keys plus the manual key in the door but the car wouldn't start. I was in my garage. All the lights came on, the controls, the bluetooth, stereo, etc. Except the engine. I was unable to turn off the car lights and dash. There was nothing i could do to reset the car. I called acura and they were sending a tow truck to jump start the car. I said that the battery is brand new. After a while, the car finally started about 20 mins later and i called and cancelled the tow truck. The dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. But mdx has many reports of this same problem but the dealer wouldn't fix my car so this wouldn't happen again. It hasn't reoccurred and i hope it doesn't in an area or time outside of my home.
