Description of the problem | I noticed the first time i accelerated quickly to merge onto the interstate that the engine hesitated at least a second to second and half before accelerating. After that, i started noticing the same hesitation whenever i punched the gas pedal to either merge into traffic or pass someone. I have read on the internet where other owners of this vehicle have the same problem. I just took the car in for it's first oil change and i complained about this issue. The dealer ran several computer software updates on my car and said that it was up to date and that basically that is the way the car is. I feel this is a big safety issue. I have adapted to driving the car with this hesitation, but i'm not happy with it. I think acura needs to address this problem before someone gets hurt. |
