Description of the problem | Agm battery failure every few months. Suspected cause is constant undercharging from computer algorithm that limits alternator output to battery. American honda has offered to provide an overnight charger that plugs into house power. Otherwise they accept no responsibility for a design that cannot keep the battery charged. The result is a $40,000 luxury car that leaves you stranded. This is a serious safety problem when it happens in traffic. Other reports on the internet indicate this is not an isolated problem. |
