Description of the problem | Baby trend, inc. Expedition elx travel system. Model: tj93412. Manufactured in: 06 24 2012 hh, lot & qty no: 31810809, ser#: cs 413181tj000809. One or both of the plastic locking paws that lock the seat to the base, have a tendency to stay in the retracted position once the seat is removed from the base. The paws are designed to retract when the handle is pulled, releasing the car seat from the base. The problem is easily corrected by taking your finger and pulling the paw out of the retracted position, prior to putting the seat in the base. If this problem goes unnoticed the seat would not be properly locked into the base. |
